V letu 2026 nas čaka peta izvedba breveta 6 prestolnic / 6 capitals (2016, 2017, 2018 in 2025).
Letos bo štart v soboto, 20. junija, na Hodošu ob 21:00. Kdor želi, lahko štarta tudi dan kasneje, v nedeljo zjutraj ob 5:00, vendar mora upoštevati program (glej spodaj) in to označiti ob prijavi.
Doslej so se tega breveta v štirih izvedbah udeležili in ga dokončali randonneurji iz Slovenije, Hrvaške, Bolgarije, Romunije, Belgije, Nemčije, Japonske, Avstrije in Madžarske.
Trasa, ki je dolga 1265,3 km in ima okoli 8350 višinskih metrov, gre po 5 državah (Slovenija, Hrvaška, Madžarska, Slovaška in Avstrija) in 6 prestolnicah (Ljubljana, Zagreb, Budimpešta, Bratislava, Dunaj) s štartom in ciljem v Hodošu, ki je prestolnica občine Hodoš na skrajnem severovzhodu Slovenije, prav na meji z Madžarsko in je ena izmed najmanjših občin v Sloveniji, je zelo atraktivna in nezahtevna, ob njej pa je veliko naravnih in kulturnih znamenitosti. Še posebej v prestolnicah, ki so velemesta, vam želimo prikazati utrip mesta in katero od mestnih znamenitosti. Ta brevet bo tudi v znamenju rek, saj bomo vozili od izvira do izliva Krke, ki je najdaljša slovenska reka, dotaknili se bomo Save, je bila najdaljša reka nekdanje Jugoslavije, še največ km pa bomo prevozili ob Donavi, ki jo bomo velikokrat tudi prečkali.
Kontrolne točke v prestolnicah so:
- Ljubljana (grad)
- Zagreb (Savski most)
- Budimpešta (trdnjava in razgledna točka)
- Bratislava (grad)
- Dunaj (dvorec Schönbrunn)
Torej je ta brevet pravi izziv za leto 2026.
Prepričani smo, da vas trasa ne bo pustila ravnodušne.

In 2026, we will hold the fifth edition of the 6 prestolnic / 6 Capitals brevet (after 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2025).
This year, the start will be on Saturday, June 20, in Hodoš at 9:00 p.m. Those who wish to do so may also start a day later, on Sunday morning at 5:00 a.m., but must follow the program (see below) and indicate this when registering.
To date, randonneurs from Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Belgium, Germany, Japan, Austria, and Hungary have participated in and completed this brevet in four editions.
The route, which is 1,265.3 km long and has an elevation gain of around 8,350 meters, passes through five countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria) and six capitals (Ljubljana, Zagreb, Budapest, Bratislava, and Vienna), starting and ending in Hodoš, the capital of the municipality of Hodoš in the far northeast of Slovenia, right on the border with Hungary, and one of the smallest municipalities in Slovenia. It is very attractive and undemanding, with many natural and cultural attractions along the way. Especially in capital cities, which are large cities, we want to show you the pulse of the city and some of its sights. This brevet will also be marked by rivers, as we will ride from the source to the mouth of the Krka, the longest river in Slovenia, touch the Sava, the longest river in the former Yugoslavia, and cover the most kilometers along the Danube, which we will cross many times.
Checkpoints in capitals are:
- Ljubljana (castle)
- Zagreb (Sava Bridge)
- Budapest (fortress and viewpoint)
- Bratislava (castle)
- Vienna (Schönbrunn Palace)
So this brevet is a real challenge for 2026.

Nekaj napotkov:
Ni prevoza prtljage in Ni organiziranega spanja na trasi breveta.
V cilju vas ne bo čakal nihče. Kot dokazilo za prevoženo pot organizatorju sporočite uro prihoda v cilj in mu pošljite gpx sled svoje vožnje.
Ves čas vožnje je obvezna uporaba čelade, v primeru zmanjšane vidljivosti in v nočni vožnji pa tudi prednjih in zadnjih luči ter odsevnih oblačil.
Vsi udeleženci bodo del WhatsApp skupine, tako da bo medsebojno obveščanje in spodbujanje ves čas aktivirano.
Nekaj dni pred štartom bo spletni briefing (glej program!). Udeležba na njem je OBVEZNA! Prijavljeni udeleženci dobijo povezavo pravočasno.

Some instructions:
There is no luggage transport and no organized accommodation along the route.
No one will be waiting for you at the finish line. As proof of the route completed, inform the organizer of your arrival time at the finish line and send them the GPX track of your ride.
Helmets must be worn at all times during the ride, and in case of reduced visibility and when riding at night, front and rear lights and reflective clothing must also be worn.
All participants will be part of a WhatsApp group, so that mutual communication and encouragement will be active throughout the event.
A few days before the start, there will be an online briefing (see the program!). Participation is MANDATORY! Registered participants will receive the link in a timely manner.

POTRUJEM, DA:
- sem v dobri fizični kondiciji,
- posedujem zdravniško potrdilo neodvisnega zdravnika, ki mi dovoljuje amatersko kolesarjenje,
- sem zdravstveno zavarovan za primer poškodb,
- sem prebral potno knjigo – RB in poznam kolesarsko progo s kontrolami in časi na posameznih kontrolnih točkah,
- ne uživam prepovedanih kemičnih in ostalih poživil,
- sprejemam pravila BRM (Brevets Randonneurs mondiaux).
SEZNANJAM SE TUDI S SLEDEČIM:
- proga ni posebej označena,
- brevet ni dirka ampak je druženje,
- na progi ni asistence, ne medicinske, ne mehanične ali katere druge pomoči,
- vsem, ki odstopijo, ni s strani organizatorja nudena nobena pomoč, zase morajo poskrbeti sami.
IZJAVLJAM:
- da bom vozil z zaščitno čelado,
- da bom vozil na lastno odgovornost in spoštoval cestnoprometna pravila tako, da s svojim ravnanjem ne bom ogrožal ostalih udeležencev v prometu,
- da ne bom formiral ali se zadrževal v skupinah večjih kot 6 oseb in s tem oviral avtomobilski promet,
- da bom vozil v gosji vrsti in po kolesarskih stezah, tam kjer so označene,
- da bom od prvega mraka do popolne zdanitve uporabil sprednje in zadnje luči,
- da bom ob vožnji ponoči oblekel jopič z odsevniki.

- I am in good physical condition,
- I have a medical certificate from an independent doctor allowing me to participate in amateur cycling,
- I have health insurance covering injuries,
- I have read the road book – RB and am familiar with the cycling route, including checkpoints and times at individual checkpoints,
- I do not use prohibited chemical or other stimulants,
- I accept the rules of BRM (Brevets Randonneurs mondiaux).
I ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THE FOLLOWING:
- the route is not specially marked,
- the brevet is not a race but a social event,
- there is no assistance on the route, neither medical, mechanical, nor any other kind of help,
- the organizer does not offer any assistance to those who drop out; they must take care of themselves.
I DECLARE:
- I will wear a protective helmet,
- I will ride at my own risk and respect traffic rules so that my behavior does not endanger other traffic participants,
- I will not form or stay in groups larger than 6 people and thus obstruct car traffic,
- that I will ride in single file and on bike paths where marked,
- that I will use front and rear lights from dusk until dawn,
- that I will wear a jacket with reflectors when riding at night.
